Microsoft is set to host an Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast on September 25, showcasing first-party titles and updates from third-party partners, highlighting the company’s gaming endeavors.
The broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, at 7 pm JST, which corresponds to 3 am Pacific, 6 am Eastern, and 11 am UK. Mena Kato, Senior Director, Xbox Asia, emphasized the significance of the event, stating that it will feature games from Microsoft’s creative teams alongside news from partners in Japan, Asia, and worldwide.
Kato expressed enthusiasm about sharing the talent and creativity behind upcoming Xbox games with players globally, noting the delight players take in Japan-inspired content and games developed in Asia. The event is anticipated to include playable titles such as Ninja Gaiden 4, a collaborative effort between Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, published by Xbox Game Studios.
In addition to gaming highlights, Microsoft plans to showcase the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld devices at the Tokyo Game Show, developed in partnership with ASUS. Although announced with an October 2025 release date at gamescom 2025, their pricing remains undisclosed, fueling speculation that an announcement regarding the price point might be made during the event.
Bethesda is also set to participate in the Tokyo Game Show by co-hosting a merchandise booth featuring official merchandise from popular franchises like Fallout, Starfield, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. There is speculation that Bethesda might provide updates on these games during the broadcast, adding to the anticipation.
Fan speculation is also rife about the potential teasing of Forza Horizon 6, rumored to be set in Japan, during the event. Xbox boss Phil Spencer previously confirmed that the next Forza title is slated for release in 2026.
