The feature, available in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.25.31.13, allows users to monitor and manage their device’s storage without leaving the conversation, providing a convenient way to filter media files and stickers from within the chat to free up space. This design aims to improve storage optimization and usability on Android devices.
This new storage tool is part of a series of recent developments in the beta channel. Another feature currently being tested is the “Mention All” function for group chats, which enables users to notify every member of a group at once with a single @all mention. The “Mention All” tag is designed to simplify communication within large group chats.
