Space and Time Labs has integrated its indexed blockchain data with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft’s data analytics platform, allowing developers to access real-time, verifiable blockchain data from top networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Following its recent mainnet launch, Space and Time Labs announced the integration, which will enable developers on Microsoft Fabric to leverage indexed on-chain data within Microsoft Azure OneLake, helping them build next-generation applications. The integration aims to boost adoption and help create next-gen applications by providing a trusted and efficient solution for enterprises to leverage insights around on-chain activity directly within their applications.

Nate Holiday, CEO of Space and Time Labs, believes the integration will advance the development of Web 2.0 and Web3 apps on the Microsoft ecosystem. “We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Microsoft to provide verifiable blockchain data to enterprises, institutions, and developers building on Fabric,” Holiday stated. “This integration enables a wealth of new data-driven use cases across financial services, Web3 apps, and AI to be built on Microsoft technology.”

Space and Time offers a decentralized blockchain indexing service, database, data warehouse, and API servers to enterprises and industries, securing its data via a sub-second ZK coprocessor for SQL. This allows developers to query for app development and analytics. The platform launched on mainnet earlier this year, enabling users to query data from a database of blockchain activity without introducing security risks and tampering. Enterprises can also securely connect their cloud databases with smart contracts.

Following the integration, Microsoft developers can access Space and Time’s indexed data through Fabric. Sruly Taber, Principal Product Manager, Microsoft Fabric at Microsoft, believes the integration matches the vision of democratizing and decentralizing technology across its platform. “By integrating with Microsoft Fabric, Space and Time not only expands our ability to serve developers and enterprises with reliable data but also aligns with our mission to democratize technology across diverse industries, including Web3,” Taber stated. “This integration underscores our commitment to providing tools that enhance productivity and drive innovation at a global scale.”

Space and Time Labs is backed by Microsoft, having received capital from Microsoft’s venture capital firm, M12, in August last year. The VC participated in a $20M Series A funding round for Space and Time after leading its strategic round in 2022.
