Snapchat is rolling out creator subscriptions in alpha to select users in the U.S. starting February 23, offering a new way for creators to monetize their content and connect with their audience.
The feature allows users to purchase subscriptions to their favorite creators, including Jeremiah Brown, Harry Jowsey, and Skai Jackson, unlocking exclusive content and other perks. Creators can set their own monthly subscription prices within the app, with Snap providing recommended tiered pricing to help guide their decisions.
Subscribers will gain access to exclusive content from their chosen creators, as well as priority replies to public Stories and ad-free consumption of the creator’s Stories. This new model creates new monetization opportunities for creators, allowing them to earn revenue directly from their most engaged fans.
Snapchat’s decision to launch creator subscriptions comes as the platform continues to grow in popularity. According to its Q4 2025 results, the company reached 946 million daily active users, with U.S. users posting to Spotlight growing over 47% year-over-year. The company plans to expand the creator subscription program to Canada, the U.K., and France in the coming weeks.
