Samsung has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 Frame TV lineup, headlined by the all-new Frame Pro, offering a striking combination of cutting-edge display technology and innovative features aimed at redefining the home entertainment experience.

The Frame Pro stands out as the premier model in Samsung’s latest collection. Building on the popularity of previous Frame TVs, which are known for displaying a rotating collection of artwork with highly realistic color when not in use, the 2025 series continues the tradition of blending television and digital art display. This approach has helped make the Frame TV series a favorite among style-conscious consumers and has inspired similar products from other manufacturers, such as the Hisense S7 Canvas TV.

At the core of the Frame Pro’s appeal is its advanced Neo QLED 4K display. Samsung touts this technology as providing “incredible depth and precise contrast,” with boosts in brightness and improvements in color reproduction. The Frame Pro is offered in three sizes—65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch—all with a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. These models also feature a high 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and fluid visuals whether watching fast-paced sports or cinematic content.

This transition to a Neo QLED panel with Mini LED backlighting marks a major upgrade from earlier Frame TVs, which had faced criticism for their less vibrant and somewhat lackluster image quality. The switch to Mini LED technology enables far better brightness and contrast, significantly enhancing the viewing experience not only in Art Mode but also for traditional TV content. Industry observers, including ZDNET’s Kerry Wan, have noted the improvement firsthand after previewing the Frame Pro at CES earlier this year.

Samsung’s Vision AI platform is another defining feature of the Frame Pro, powering a suite of intelligent capabilities designed to make TV usage more interactive and informative. Live Translate offers real-time subtitle translations for live broadcasts, enabling multilingual audiences to understand programming instantly. The Click to Search function allows viewers to identify and learn more about objects and elements appearing on screen, akin to the Circle to Search feature found on Galaxy smartphones.

The Frame Pro also incorporates Samsung Food, an AI tool that can recognize foods shown on screen and then provide users with recipes or options for ordering those meals. For those interested in personalizing their TV display, the Generative Wallpaper tool uses generative AI to create custom images, further enhancing the artistic versatility of the device.

To optimize the viewing experience in a variety of lighting conditions, the Frame Pro is equipped with a UL-certified matte screen that significantly reduces glare. It offers access to the Samsung Art Store, where users can choose from over 3,000 pieces of artwork to display, continuing the series’ legacy as a stylish digital canvas. The Home Insight feature provides an added layer of convenience and security by sending safety notifications directly to users’ smartphones.

The Frame Pro is designed to sit flush against a wall, giving it a minimalist and elegant appearance that seamlessly integrates with home décor. Included with the television is Samsung’s Wireless One Connect Box, which enables wireless setup and easy connection of entertainment devices such as gaming consoles and set-top boxes. This move toward wireless connectivity, which is also featured in other 2025 Samsung TV models like their new 8K TVs, streamlines installation and helps reduce cable clutter, making device management simpler for users who frequently change connected equipment.

Preorders for the Samsung Frame Pro are now open. The 65-inch model is priced at $2,199, the 75-inch version at $3,199, and the largest 85-inch option at $4,299. For those seeking a more affordable alternative, the standard (non-Pro) 2025 Frame TV models are also available for preorder, with prices ranging from $899 for the 43-inch size to $1,799 for the 65-inch.
