Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone was launched on the 12th and quickly sold out at 20 stores across South Korea, sparking widespread interest.
According to insiders cited by The Chosun, Samsung plans to restock the device in a couple of days, with new units becoming available on the Samsung.com online store at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. A limited supply of only 3,000 Galaxy Z TriFold units has been allocated for the domestic South Korean market, contributing to the device’s swift sell-out.
In addition to the online restock, some offline stores are expected to receive an additional shipment at the same time, although the specific locations have not been identified.
The Galaxy Z TriFold was launched with an original price of 3,594,000 Korean won (KRW). Following the initial sell-out, scalpers listed units on second-hand trading platforms for prices ranging up to 4 million KRW, with some units even reaching as high as 10 million KRW. Notably, the new stock will be sold at the original price of 3,594,000 KRW.
