Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE is set to launch earlier than its predecessor, with a reported introduction date of September 19, according to a Korean news outlet.

This date is exactly one week earlier than the S24 FE’s unveiling on September 26 and also precedes the S24 FE’s availability date of October 3. However, the report’s clarity on whether September 19 signifies the announcement or the actual release date remains ambiguous due to machine translation.

In Korea, the S25 FE is anticipated to be priced under KRW 1 million, which translates to approximately $721 or €620 at current exchange rates. The report suggests that the S25 FE’s price will either mirror its predecessor’s or see only a marginal increase, with international pricing yet to be determined.

Rumored specifications for the Galaxy S25 FE include Samsung’s Exynos 2400 SoC, a minor upgrade from the Exynos 2400e found in the S24 FE.

The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 1080×2340 AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Its camera setup is rumored to include a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12 MP selfie camera.

Powering the S25 FE will reportedly be a 4,500 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone’s dimensions are rumored to be 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm, with a weight of 190g.

It is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and launch with One UI 8 based on Android 16. Compared to the S24 FE, the S25 FE is rumored to be slightly shorter, narrower, thinner, and lighter.

This reduction in size, however, comes with a smaller battery by 200 mAh, though it is expected to offer faster charging. Besides the updated SoC, the most significant upgrade is anticipated in the selfie camera.
