The removal of Battlefield 1, a nearly nine-year-old title, is partially offset by the upcoming release of Battlefield 6 on October 10, which has confirmed console-only cross-play. Fans eager to continue playing Battlefield 1 can purchase it affordably outside the subscription service.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed offers an asymmetrical multiplayer experience simulating life as a Ghostbuster. Although it received mixed reviews upon launch, the game has since garnered positive feedback from players. The departure of The Last Clockwinder represents yet another challenge for Sony’s struggling PSVR2 platform, highlighting ongoing difficulties in VR adoption.
Earlier this week, Sony revealed new additions to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogues for September, featuring Legacy of Kain: Defiance, Persona 5 Tactica, and Crow Country.
