Perplexity has introduced a new feature called Email Assistant, utilizing an AI chatbot to streamline email management by scheduling meetings, organizing emails, and drafting replies, initially supporting Gmail and Outlook.

This innovative tool is exclusively available to Perplexity’s Max plan subscribers, a premium tier launched in July with a monthly fee of $200. To access the Email Assistant, Max subscribers simply need to send their requests to a designated Perplexity email address. The company emphasizes that the AI technology behind the assistant does not train on user emails, ensuring a level of privacy for its users. However, it is designed to adapt to a user’s writing style when composing replies, aiming to provide a personalized touch.

The Email Assistant is now available for use, marking a significant enhancement to the Perplexity service for its high-tier subscribers.
