Apple is set to unveil its iPhone 17 lineup soon, with recent reports shedding light on the camera upgrades for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed that the Pro models will feature five key camera enhancements.
One significant upgrade is in video recording, promising “major enhancements,” including simultaneous front-and-back camera recording. The telephoto lens is also set for a substantial increase in resolution, upgrading from 12MP to 48MP. A variable aperture system, initially rumored for the iPhone 18, is now anticipated for the iPhone 17 Pro. This feature could be a significant addition to the camera capabilities.
Furthermore, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to introduce multi-cam simultaneous video recording, allowing users to capture footage from multiple cameras at the same time. The selfie camera is also slated to receive its “biggest-ever upgrade,” though specific details remain undisclosed. These reported features largely align with previous leaks and rumors, providing further confirmation and clarity on the upcoming iPhone’s camera capabilities. The full details will be revealed at Apple’s event.
