XREAL has introduced its Aura XR glasses, a development from the earlier Project Aura concept. The glasses weigh under 95 grams and feature a 70° field of view along with the X1S spatial co-processor, providing an immersive extended reality experience. They utilize a tethered split compute architecture that connects the glasses with a separate computing puck powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Reality Elite platform, ensuring high performance without sacrificing portability.

The Aura XR glasses are set to launch in five key markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, beginning in fall 2026. Additional European markets are expected to follow shortly after. This phased rollout targets regions with a strong demand for XR technology, aiming to establish a solid foundation for global adoption.

XREAL is offering two pre-order options for early adopters. A $99 refundable deposit provides a $199 credit toward the final purchase price, while a $299 founder priority pass allows for early delivery and access to exclusive limited-edition hardware. The final retail price for the Aura XR glasses is set at $1,500 before taxes.

The Aura XR glasses represent a significant advancement in wearable technology, combining lightweight design with advanced hardware and AI integration.
