Samsung has launched the Galaxy Card in the US, marking its first credit card in the market, in partnership with Barclays US Consumer Bank. The Galaxy Card is a Visa credit card that offers cash rewards on eligible Samsung products.
The Galaxy Card provides 5% cash back on eligible Samsung products purchased through Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung Shop app, the Galaxy Store, and Samsung Care+ plans. It also offers 3% cash back on purchases made using Samsung Wallet and 2% cash back on subscriptions to Disney+, Netflix, Spotify, and other participating streaming services. All other purchases earn 1% cash back.
Samsung has begun accepting applications for the Galaxy Card from select customers. General availability is set to begin on July 22, 2026, through Samsung’s website and at retail stores across the US. New cardholders can earn a bonus of up to $200 if they spend $2,000 within the first 90 days of opening a Galaxy Card account.
The Galaxy Card integrates with Samsung Wallet and is secured by Samsung Knox. After approval, users can access the card immediately through Samsung Wallet, with a physical version shipped later. The card features a premium metal design with a black Samsung logo.
Galaxy Card users also receive 20% off a Samsung VIP Advantage membership and earn 5% cash back on purchases or renewals of that membership. Samsung has previously offered a similar cash back rewards debit card called Samsung Money by SoFi and has similar credit card offerings in India and South Korea.
The Galaxy Card is designed to compete directly with the Apple Card, which also offers cash back rewards. This launch marks Barclays’ first digital wallet-native credit card.
