Huawei announced the MatePad Air 2026 tablet, set to launch on July 14 during its Global Launch Event. This device will debut alongside the Pura 90s series.

The company released a teaser on its official global X page, showcasing the tablet’s design. The MatePad Air 2026 appears thinner and lighter than its predecessor and will be available in pastel colors, including pink, light green, and sky blue.

According to the teaser, the new tablet features a slim pill-shaped cutout module for the rear camera, differing from the Nova-like camera bump found in the 2025 model. The teaser caption reads, “Fresh Air, Your Spark. Kuala Lumpur, 14 July 2026. See you there. #NowIsYourMoment #HuaweiLaunch.”
