HMD has announced the release of its new smartphone, the Vibe 5G, along with two feature phones, the HMD 101 and HMD 102, expanding its product lineup in the Indian market.

The HMD Vibe 5G boasts a 6.67-inch 720×1604 LCD touchscreen display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth visual experience. Powered by a Unisoc T760 SoC, the device is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, ensuring efficient performance. The smartphone features a 50 MP rear camera accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP front camera for capturing high-quality images. A 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W wired charging powers the device, promising extended usage on a single charge. The Vibe 5G runs on Android 15 and is committed to receiving two years of quarterly security updates, enhancing its security and stability. Additional features of the smartphone include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience, and dual-SIM capability. The device also comes bundled with a charger. The HMD Vibe 5G is available in black and purple color variants on HMD’s official website for INR 8,999, which is a discounted price from its listed MRP of INR 11,999.

In addition to the Vibe 5G, HMD has introduced two feature phones, the HMD 101 and HMD 102, which share nearly identical specifications with a few notable differences. The primary distinction between the two models lies in the presence of a QVGA camera with flash on the HMD 102, a feature absent in the HMD 101. Both feature phones are equipped with a 2-inch 240×320 display, a Unisoc 8910 FF-S processor, and 16 MB of expandable internal storage. They also support FM radio, MP3 player functionality, cloud apps, and Bluetooth connectivity. The inclusion of a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB-C port adds to their feature set. Both devices have an IP52 rating, indicating resistance to dust and water. A 1,000 mAh removable battery powers these feature phones. The HMD 101 is available in dark blue, red, and blue color options for INR 1,899. In contrast, the HMD 102 is offered in dark blue, red, and purple colors for INR 2,199.
