Google Photos users who found their Magic Editor edits vanishing into thin air can breathe a sigh of relief. The company has addressed the frustrating bug that prevented edited images from saving, and a fix is now rolling out.

Magic Editor in Google Photos uses generative AI to allow users to make advanced edits, such as changing the color of the sky or the position of a subject. The inability to save these edits after making them was a recent issue for users.

Google has acknowledged the bug on its support page, stating that a fix is now available for users who experienced the issue.
