DJI has launched its Amflow electric mountain bike range in the United States, set to be available on July 30, 2025, following its European debut over a year ago.

The Amflow range showcases DJI’s Avinox drive system, which features a 1000W motor delivering 120Nm of torque, known for its compact and efficient design. The Amflow PL e-bikes, designed to highlight this technology, weigh 19.2kg. Two models are available: the Amflow PL Carbon, starting at $7,499, and the Pro model, priced at $10,199. Prospective buyers are encouraged to schedule a test ride before making a purchase.

The Avinox drive system’s impact is evident, with at least six international brands announcing e-bikes using this technology since April 2025. According to BikeEurope, the adoption has expanded to at least 16 brands. Thomas Ricker noted that the Avinox drive system has sent “shockwaves through the industry and leaving stalwarts like Bosch and Specialized struggling to respond.”
