Dia Browser Launches $20 Pro Subscription Plan

The Browser Company has launched a Pro subscription plan for its AI-integrated web browser, Dia, priced at $20 per month, marking its first revenue-generating subscription service with unlimited access to AI-powered features.

The introduction of the paid plan means that free users will now encounter usage limits on AI features, although specific limits have not been detailed. CEO Josh Miller previously stated in July that the browser would remain free for those using AI features “a few times a week.” Miller also hinted at future plans for multiple subscription tiers, potentially ranging from $5 to hundreds of dollars per month, indicating a strategic approach to catering to different user needs and willingness to pay.

The Pro plan was briefly available online earlier this week before being removed, but it has since been restored and is now accessible via Dia’s settings. This development comes as The Browser Company, known for its Arc browser, continues to build on its investor support. The company has raised $128 million from investors including Pace Capital and Next Play Ventures, alongside notable tech executives such as Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Ev Williams (Medium), and Dylan Field (Figma), underscoring the confidence of major investors in its innovative approach.
