Apple has expanded its Apple TV app by introducing a dedicated Formula 1 channel, providing fans with a centralized hub for the upcoming F1 season, following a five-year deal to host F1 broadcasts in the US starting in 2026.

The newly added channel includes placeholders for practices, qualifying sessions, and the grand prix, along with a weekend warm-up show, enhancing the viewing experience for F1 enthusiasts. Notably, the channel features a section labeled “Event Schedule: Sky Sports,” indicating that Apple will utilize Sky’s commentary rather than providing its own hosts.

In addition to live event coverage, the Apple TV app offers 2025 season highlights and a recap of the rule changes for 2026, giving fans a comprehensive insight into the sport. While some races will be available to watch for free, an F1 TV Premium package is included with Apple TV subscriptions, offering serious fans access to exclusive content such as driver cams and live team radios alongside every race.
