Apple has expanded its Apple Wallet ID support to Montana, making it the eleventh state to offer digital IDs. Montana residents can now add their state-issued IDs to the Wallet app on their iPhones.

According to Apple, digital IDs in Wallet can be used at select TSA checkpoints in numerous airports across the United States. These digital IDs are also accepted at participating businesses and venues, though acceptance may vary. Montana residents are still required to carry their physical ID cards alongside their digital versions.

Currently, the following states and territories support IDs in Apple Wallet: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, and Puerto Rico. Apple has indicated that further expansion is planned, with Connecticut, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Utah committed to implementing the feature in the future. Arkansas and West Virginia are also expected to add support soon.
