Anker has unveiled the Soundcore Sleep A30, its newest wireless sleep earbuds featuring active noise cancellation, a significant upgrade that sets it apart from earlier versions.
The Soundcore Sleep A30 is initially launching via pre-order on Kickstarter, with broader sales through Amazon and the Soundcore website scheduled for August 2025. The earbuds are available for $229.99, marking a significant increase from the previous model’s retail price. Early Kickstarter backers can purchase the earbuds at a reduced cost of $139, while the previous Sleep A20 model was available for $149.99. This pricing strategy is likely to appeal to loyal customers and early adopters.
The Sleep A30 boasts a 7% reduction in size, rendering them slimmer and less protrusive, enhancing comfort and making them particularly suitable for side sleepers by minimizing pressure against the pillow. Anker provides various sizes of ear accessories, comprising silicone ear tips in four sizes, memory foam tips in three sizes, and ear wings in three sizes, to achieve optimal noise isolation and personalization.
Anker states that the Sleep A30 is effective in minimizing ambient noise, capable of reducing external noise by up to 30dB. The ANC functionality, made possible by the dual microphones located internally and externally, impacts the battery performance. The battery life of the earbuds is up to 9 hours when used independently or 6.5 hours when streaming content. With the charging case, the total duration extends to 45 hours when playing stored sounds or 35 hours when streaming.
The charging case of the Soundcore Sleep A30 features “Adaptive Snore Masking technology,” a proprietary feature that analyzes the volume and pitch of snoring and produces “noise masking audio” to minimize disruptions. Additional functionalities of the Soundcore Sleep A30 include sleep position tracking, a private repeatable alarm, a snooze function, and a “Find My Earbud” capability, as well as the ability to monitor sleep quality.
