This information, derived from an email sent to Best Buy members and a leak shared on Reddit, suggests that the new AirPods could be available sooner than typically anticipated. Historically, Apple has made minor accessories available immediately after such events, while major devices are usually offered for pre-order later in the week.
In 2022, the AirPods Pro 2 were not immediately available for purchase but were offered for pre-order later in the week. However, in 2023, the AirPods 4 and new AirPods Max were made available for order immediately after the announcement, although shipping was scheduled for the following week. It is expected that Apple will follow a similar pattern with the AirPods Pro 3.
