Elon Musk expressed gratitude towards Micron for providing memory chips to Tesla at reasonable prices during Tesla’s recent earnings call. Musk highlighted the favorable terms of this allocation amid challenging pricing conditions in the memory chip market, stating, “I’d like to thank Micron $MU for their memory allocation for reasonable prices, considering memory prices right now.” This procurement is notable as other major companies, including Apple, have struggled with rising memory costs.

Tesla’s earnings report revealed that the company fell short of consensus expectations, contributing to a challenging financial landscape for the electric vehicle manufacturer. The ability to secure memory chips at competitive prices may provide some relief amid these difficulties.
