Huawei is preparing to launch its first smartphone equipped with a 10,000mAh battery and a Kirin 8 series processor. The device is expected to be a mid-range option, likely featuring cost-effective attributes.
Weibo leaker @DigitalChatStation reported seeing a new mid-range handset in a database that will soon debut with the large battery capacity. The leaker did not specify the device’s name but confirmed it will utilize a Kirin 8 series mobile processor, indicating it is a Huawei product.
Early reports suggest that Huawei plans to unveil the 10,000mAh battery phone later this year. This smartphone will mark the company’s first model with such a significant battery capacity, although details about its name and additional specifications remain undisclosed.
The latest leak indicates that the upcoming device will feature a 6.84-inch LTPS flat display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it is expected to include a 50MP main camera, though it is unclear if this will be a single lens or accompanied by others.
Huawei is reportedly working on multiple devices slated for release by August, including two Enjoy series smartphones and a Nova SE model, among others.
