Google is testing new features in the Play Store that include support for third-party app stores. This development follows a recent update that introduced an improved search experience and the ability to try out widgets during app installation.

The upcoming changes in the Play Store may also include a feature called Play Labs, which is currently being tested. Additionally, the Play Store is preparing a two-row search bar for rollout.

This update marks a significant shift in Google’s approach to app distribution, potentially allowing users more flexibility in accessing apps from various sources. The company has not provided a timeline for when these features will be fully implemented.
