Google Vids is introducing two new features aimed at enhancing the video creation experience for users. The first feature, called “Extend,” allows users to create longer clips by adding an additional eight seconds to the standard eight-second clips. This feature aims to maintain continuity across scenes.
Additionally, users can now generate multiple clips simultaneously. Previously, users had to wait for one clip to finish generating before starting another, which slowed down the iteration process when experimenting with various prompt styles and ideas.
These features are rolling out today for Business, Enterprise, and Education Plus users. They are also available for consumer accounts that have a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription. Google stated that the rollout will be complete within three days, indicating that users may need to wait for the changes to appear in their accounts.
The new features do not require admin controls, allowing users on Workspace accounts to access them without needing approval from a Workspace admin.
