Adobe is launching a redesigned Firefly AI studio that integrates new capabilities for its AI assistant, aimed at streamlining design processes. The updated experience, which is entering private beta today, offers features such as persistent context, reusable assets, and organized workflows, according to Adobe. This allows users to transition from ideation to production-ready designs without switching between multiple applications.
The new Firefly AI assistant can now generate brand logos and compile video clips into draft cuts. These enhancements are part of ongoing updates to Adobe’s Firefly hub, which was first introduced in September 2023.
Among the key features of the new studio is “Elements,” allowing users to save previously created characters, locations, and objects for reuse across Firefly and Firefly Boards. Users can upload reference images and assign names, enabling them to instruct Firefly to generate specific scenes without needing to repeatedly describe the prompt.
The second feature, “Projects,” organizes assets, generations, and creative contexts, making it easier for users to manage their work and resume projects where they left off. The Firefly AI assistant, which supports creative tasks through conversational prompts, will also receive additional tools and functionalities.
