Anthropic is launching a new feature called “Reflect” for its AI assistant, Claude, which allows users to track their usage patterns and activities. Reflect provides a summary of how users engage with Claude over various timeframes, including the past 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
The feature offers insights into key topics and tasks users complete with Claude. In addition, Anthropic plans to introduce a view showing users how much time they have spent using the AI. The company states that Reflect encourages users to consider Claude’s role in their daily activities, prompting questions like, “What’s one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?”
Reflect includes new settings that allow users to set quiet hours or schedule reminders to take breaks after extended use. Anthropic also mentions that users can leverage the information from Reflect alongside the 4D AI Fluency Framework, which focuses on four categories: Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence. The feature offers practical suggestions for improving collaboration with Claude.
Reflect does not include data from incognito chats or health integration tools, ensuring user privacy. The insights generated by Reflect are not used for other purposes.
This feature is currently available in beta for Free, Pro, and Max users who have memory activated. Users can access Reflect through the Settings section of Claude on the web or desktop app by selecting the Reflect tab to generate a report.
