Anthropic has begun rolling out its latest upgrade for Claude Voice Mode, introducing multilingual support and a new Push-to-talk feature. Users have reported seeing additional language options, including Spanish (Latin America), within the updated interface.
The Push-to-talk feature allows users to press and hold a button to speak, offering an alternative to the existing hands-free conversational mode. The rollout appears to be reaching users gradually, with some reporting access to the new features while others wait.
An X user identified as Evinstein shared a screenshot of the updated interface, describing the experience as “100 times better than ChatGPT.” This feedback highlights the enhancements users can expect from the upgrade.
According to TestingCatalog, which previously reported on the impending upgrades, the multilingual support is currently becoming available on Claude’s mobile apps. The availability of these features may vary among users.
Additionally, TestingCatalog noted the emergence of a new icon resembling a phone call button in a recent iOS build, though Anthropic has not confirmed its function. This raises questions about potential developments in phone-like conversational capabilities.
Users can check for the update by opening the Claude app, tapping their profile picture, and navigating to the settings under the Voice section. If the rollout has reached their account, the new options should be visible there.
