The full specifications of the vivo X200s smartphone have emerged online ahead of its official launch, offering a comprehensive look at the device just days before its debut. vivo is preparing to introduce the X200 Ultra and the X200s on April 21, marking the company’s latest entries in its flagship series.
The vivo X200s is positioned as a smaller version compared to the standard X200, which originally launched in October. Despite being a compact iteration, the X200s is expected to deliver notable performance enhancements. At the heart of the device is MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400+ chipset, a system-on-chip that is itself scheduled for an official unveiling on April 11. This marks the X200s as one of the first smartphones to feature this new, yet-to-be-released processor, indicating a focus on cutting-edge performance and efficiency.
The display of the X200s is reported to be a 6.67-inch flat panel boasting a “1.5K” resolution, aiming to offer users a clear and vibrant visual experience. On the rear, the device is equipped with an impressive triple camera setup. This includes a 50 MP main camera for standard shots, a 50 MP ultrawide camera for broader perspectives, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom. Notably, the telephoto lens utilizes Sony’s Lytia LYT-600 sensor, which promises enhanced image quality for zoomed-in photography.
Powering the vivo X200s is a substantial 6,200 mAh battery. The device is designed to support 90W wired charging for rapid power-ups, as well as 40W wireless charging for added convenience. For user security, the X200s will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, allowing quick and secure unlocking of the handset.
Durability is another highlight, with the X200s carrying both IP68 and IP69 certifications. These ratings indicate that the phone is highly resistant to dust and water, ensuring robust protection in a variety of environments.
When it comes to aesthetics, vivo will offer the X200s in four distinct color options: black, white, Soft Purple, and Mint Green. These choices were revealed through official images provided by the brand, giving users a preview of the device’s design and color palette.
This detailed leak arrives in advance of the X200s’ formal announcement, providing an early look at a smartphone that builds upon the foundation set by the previous X200 model while introducing new hardware and features to the lineup.
