Eufy, a division of Anker Innovations renowned for its smart home and robotic vacuum products, is making a major move into outdoor gardening with the launch of its next-generation robot lawn mowers, the E15 and E18. Available beginning April 7, 2025, these models promise hands-free lawn care using advanced technology and are now on sale through eufy’s official website and Amazon.

The E15 and E18 represent eufy’s expansion beyond its established smart home territory, bringing the brand’s reputation for innovation and convenience to the realm of automated lawn maintenance. These new robot mowers are designed to deliver exceptional operational ease, cutting-edge performance, and a host of user-friendly features that aim to simplify yardwork for homeowners.

Both models, the E15 and E18, went on public sale on April 7, 2025. Interested buyers can purchase them directly from eufy.com or via Amazon, with the E15 retailing for $1,600 and the E18 for $1,999. A special promotional offer allows customers to use the code “eufyRLE15” for a $300 discount on the E15 until April 30, reducing its price to $1,300.

Unlike most robot lawn mowers that require the painstaking process of burying boundary wires, eufy’s new models utilize advanced camera-based mapping and navigation, removing the need for manual perimeter setups. The installation process is streamlined: users simply set up the base charging station, connect the mower to their home Wi-Fi, and allow the mower to automatically map the mowing area. This is made possible by eufy’s proprietary Vision-FSD (V-FSD 1.0) Technology, a feature inspired by the simplicity of robot vacuum setup in the home.

Vision-FSD is at the heart of these mowers’ intelligence. The system integrates an AI-powered semantic camera alongside a stereo 3D, binocular-inspired camera, enabling precise positioning, distance measurement, and accurate identification of edges and paths. This camera array is further enhanced by an LED light for operation in low-light conditions and an automatic defogger to maintain visibility and operational reliability regardless of weather or obstructions.

All aspects of the mowers’ operation can be controlled via the eufy mobile app. Users are able to manage and customize mowing paths, edit mapped areas with adjustments as precise as 0.2 meters, and even set up connection paths of up to 60 meters—ideal for navigating and maintaining both front and back yards separately. The flexibility offered by the app ensures that homeowners retain full oversight of their lawn care while enjoying the benefits of automation.

Ride On Edge technology is another standout feature, allowing the robot mowers to trim right up to the edge of the lawn, eliminating the need for manual edging along borders, sidewalks, or garden paths. In addition, the parallel cutting function ensures that mowing lines remain even and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to a professional-looking finish every time.

The E15 and E18 models, while sharing the same physical dimensions, are designed to serve different lawn sizes. The E15 is capable of maintaining up to 800 square meters (approximately 0.2 acre), and the E18 can handle up to 1,200 square meters (around 0.3 acre). Both offer an adjustable cutting height ranging from 25 to 75 millimeters, giving users flexibility to maintain their preferred grass length throughout the season.

Handling varied terrain is also a strength of the new models. The mowers can tackle slopes of up to 40 percent (about 18 degrees) and are programmed to automatically revisit and mow any missed patches, ensuring complete and thorough coverage across the entire lawn.

Safety and navigation are further enhanced by intelligent object recognition. This allows the mowers to detect and avoid obstacles such as people, pets, fences, pools, and garden fixtures, navigating safely and efficiently without risking damage or accidents. The operation is exceptionally quiet, with a noise level of just 56 decibels, making them among the most silent robotic mowers available.

Security features have been thoughtfully integrated as well. If a mower leaves its designated area, an anti-theft system is activated, sending both audio and mobile alerts. The mower will then enter lockdown mode and transmit its GPS location via the 4G network, providing peace of mind for users concerned about loss or theft.

Additional convenience comes in the form of rain detection technology, which enables the mower to sense adverse weather and automatically return to its charging station, protecting both the machine and the lawn from unnecessary wear during rain.

With this launch, eufy is addressing many of the common complaints associated with robotic lawn mowers, such as complex setup, the hassle of boundary wires, and inconsistent navigation. The E15 and E18 models are not only redefining user-friendly smart home devices but also making automated lawn care more accessible, secure, and reliable for homeowners everywhere.
