Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the 18 Pro Max, is anticipated to feature a 6.9-inch flat OLED screen and a 2nm Snapdragon chip, as revealed by a recent leak.
The leak, shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, suggests that the 18 Pro Max will boast a 6.9-inch flat LIPO OLED screen with extremely narrow symmetrical bezels. The display is expected to support the BT.2020 color space and will be capable of reducing its brightness to 1 nit in ultra-low light conditions.
The device is projected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC, which will be manufactured using a 2nm process. Notably, the bezels on the 18 Pro Max are expected to be even narrower than those on the current Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, which was launched in September.
The leak implies that Xiaomi is continuing its partnership with Qualcomm for flagship silicon, following the trend set by the current Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, which debuted in September.
