Honor has teased the MagicPad 4 ahead of its full release at the Mobile World Conference (MWC), claiming it is the world’s thinnest Android tablet, measuring just 4.8mm thick, excluding the camera bump.

This makes it a full millimeter thinner than its predecessor, the MagicPad 3, and slimmer than both the 5.1mm iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S11. The significant reduction in thickness is part of a series of upgrades and design improvements in the new device.

The tablet features a new 12.3-inch 165Hz OLED display, which is an upgrade from the previous model’s LCD panel, despite being slightly smaller. The device weighs 450g, a notable reduction of 145 grams compared to the previous version. This weight reduction is attributed to the new screen and a slightly smaller 10,100 mAh battery. The box includes a 66W fast charger, ensuring quick replenishment of the battery.

Under the hood, the MagicPad 4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front camera, catering to photography needs. Additionally, it features eight speakers for spatial audio, enhancing the multimedia experience. The MagicPad 4 will run on MagicOS 10, which is Honor’s version of Android 16.

While Honor has revealed several key specifications and features of the MagicPad 4, pricing and availability details have not yet been announced, leaving potential buyers awaiting further information ahead of its release at MWC.
