SeatGeek has partnered with Spotify to direct fans to its ticketing marketplace from the Spotify app, enhancing concert discovery for users.

The integration is currently limited to venues where SeatGeek serves as the primary ticket seller, covering 15 US partner venues, primarily professional sports arenas such as AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Spotify previously experimented with direct ticket sales but now focuses on integrating third-party ticketing companies, currently listing 46 ticketing partners, including Ticketmaster and AXS.

The Spotify app also allows users to follow specific venues to receive notifications about upcoming concerts and events, further enhancing the user experience.

In addition to the ticketing integration, Spotify has recently added several new features, including a song information tool and group messaging, and is addressing AI-generated content in its library.

Spotify now reports 750 million monthly users, underscoring its significant presence in the music streaming market.
