Samsung’s Galaxy S26 to Feature AI-Powered Now Nudge

Samsung is developing a new AI-powered feature called Now Nudge for its upcoming Galaxy S26, a tool that appears to be the company’s response to Google’s Magic Cue feature on Pixel devices.

According to code found in a leaked One UI 9 firmware build, Now Nudge is designed to function as an intelligent autofill tool. It will be capable of pulling personalized information from multiple apps to provide users with relevant suggestions. For example, if a friend texts about a dinner reservation, Now Nudge could scan the user’s email to find the booking details and present them as a suggestion.

The leaked firmware, originally discovered in test builds for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8, revealed a list of categories that Now Nudge will support. These categories include accommodation, flights, vehicle rental, restaurant reservations, sports, movies, coupons, medical appointments, exercise, government services, and education, among others. SammyGuru, the source that first surfaced the feature details, noted that this list likely only scratches the surface of Now Nudge’s capabilities when it launches.

Now Nudge represents Samsung’s broader push into on-device AI, going beyond simple text prediction. It is expected to be a significant feature in the Galaxy S26. The new device is also anticipated to include other enhancements, such as new camera toggles for video softening and adjustable autofocus speed, as revealed by previous code analysis. These additions suggest that Samsung is refining both the software and imaging experience for its next flagship.
