Apple is set to announce upgrades for several of its products, including the entry-level iPad, iPad Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air, as early as the week of March 2, as reported by Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter.
According to Gurman, “A product launch is currently slated for as early as the week of March 2.” This upcoming launch is expected to bring significant upgrades to Apple’s product lineup, building on recent introductions such as the M5 chip in the 14-inch MacBook Pro in October. The new event will see the introduction of the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips to new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, alongside a refreshed MacBook Air.
The iPad series is also due for an update, with a new entry-level model expected to feature the A18 chip. This upgrade is aimed at supporting Apple Intelligence, enhancing the device’s capabilities. Additionally, the iPad Air is slated to receive the M4 chip, further boosting its performance.
Other products in line for updates include the Mac Studio and Studio Display. Furthermore, Apple is expected to refresh the Mac Mini later in the year. As previously reported by Gurman, Apple is also working on its first low-cost MacBook, set to be released in the near future.
