Valve has introduced Steam Replay 2025, its fourth annual summary of users’ PC gaming habits, joining a list of year-end data summaries from various services like Spotify and PlayStation.
Steam Replay 2025 provides users with a detailed overview of their gaming activities, including top games played, total titles played, achievements unlocked, and longest play streaks. The feature also categorizes gameplay by genre, Steam Deck usage, and game categories such as new releases and classics. Additionally, it offers monthly activity summaries and the percentage of time spent on each title, giving users a comprehensive insight into their gaming habits.
The recap also allows users to compare their individual statistics to the median Steam user, providing a relative perspective on their gaming activity. For instance, one user’s experience showed they played 28 games in 2025, significantly higher than the median of four games played by Steam users. Similarly, their longest play streak of 15 days was compared to the median of six days, highlighting the variability in user engagement. It is noted that users with low activity levels contribute to lowering the median values.
