Amazon has revamped its game-streaming service, Amazon Luna, making it available at no extra cost to Prime members. The updated service introduces a new feature called GameNight, a collection of more than 25 local multiplayer games that can be controlled using a smartphone.

GameNight is designed for social gaming and will feature exclusive titles from Amazon Game Studios. The first exclusive is “Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg,” an improv game that uses AI-voice technology where players create characters and stories. Other titles included in the GameNight library are “Angry Birds Flock Party,” “Draw & Guess,” “The Jackbox Party Pack 9,” “Ticket to Ride,” “Exploding Kittens 2,” “Clue,” and “Tetris Effect: Connected.”

Jeff Gattis, general manager of Amazon Luna, stated, “GameNight takes even further the idea of easy access that’s core to the new Luna, delivering a collection of incredibly fun and approachable games that absolutely shine when played together with friends and family. Anyone with a smartphone can dive right in and have a blast, regardless of their gaming abilities.”

In addition to GameNight, the service has added new titles such as “Hogwarts Legacy,” “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II,” and “TopSpin 2K25.” These games, and all others outside the GameNight collection, require a controller or a mouse and keyboard to play.

For a larger selection of games, users can subscribe to Luna Premium for $9.99 per month. This subscription tier, formerly known as Luna+, includes titles like “EA SPORTS FC 25,” “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” and “Batman: Arkham Knight.”
