Apple is gearing up to release iOS 26.0.2, the second bug-fix update for the operating system launched about a month ago, with internal testing indicating an imminent release within the next one to two weeks.
Evidence of the update was discovered in analytics logs, a common precursor to a new iOS version becoming available to the public. While specific details about iOS 26.0.2 have not been officially released, it is expected to include a mix of bug fixes, security patches, and performance improvements. The update may also address issues reported by users related to the “Liquid Glass” redesign, a significant visual overhaul introduced in iOS 26.0. This release follows last month’s iOS 26.0.1 update, which specifically resolved several bugs affecting the iPhone 17.
In addition to iOS 26.0.2, Apple is also working on iOS 26.1, a more substantial update currently available to beta testers. iOS 26.1 is anticipated to be released by the end of the month and includes new features, such as a swipe gesture in Apple Music.
