OnePlus is set to launch OxygenOS 16 on October 16, 2025, starting with India, bringing enhancements to privacy, performance, and security as it is based on Android 16.

A primary focus of OxygenOS 16 is its artificial intelligence features, which include native Gemini support for OnePlus AI, facilitating contextual tasks such as generating itineraries from user content like Mindspace data. The software also introduces design and user interface tweaks for a more refined experience.

The initial rollout of OxygenOS 16 will target the OnePlus 13 series, comprising the OnePlus 13, 13R, and 13S, which have completed beta testing. Following the initial release, a broader rollout to other devices is anticipated. However, OnePlus has not yet released a comprehensive device eligibility list or a detailed changelog for the update.
