The Realme GT 8 Pro has received its sales certification in China, revealing key specifications ahead of its launch. The certification has confirmed several features of the upcoming device.
The device is confirmed to support 120W wired charging, which is consistent with its predecessor and dismisses earlier rumors of a reduction to 100W. This suggests that Realme is maintaining its fast charging capabilities in the new model.
Reports from Weibo also suggest the phone will include wireless charging and a large battery with a capacity around 7,000 mAh, a decrease from a previously rumored 8,000 mAh. The inclusion of wireless charging adds to the device’s appeal, offering users more flexibility in how they charge their phone.
The GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, indicating a high-performance capability. Its camera system will feature a 200-MP periscope telephoto lens, highlighting Realme’s focus on enhancing the device’s photography capabilities.
The phone will have a 6.78-inch QHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth visual experience for users. It will be available with up to 16 GB of RAM, catering to users who require high memory for their applications.
It is expected to run Android 16 with Realme UI 7, providing users with a modern and intuitive interface. The Realme GT 8 Pro is scheduled to launch in October alongside the GT 8 model, setting the stage for an exciting release in the smartphone market.
