The Samsung Gallery app offers a fun and creative way to enhance your images without needing any third-party software, allowing users to add stickers to their photos directly on their Samsung Galaxy device.

Before getting started, users will need a Samsung Galaxy device with the native Gallery app installed, a feature available on most modern Galaxy models, including the S24 series.

To add stickers to photos on a Samsung Galaxy, users can follow a straightforward process within the Samsung Gallery app. The first method involves using pre-made stickers.

To do this, open the Gallery app and select the desired photo for editing. Tap the pencil icon at the bottom to enter edit mode, and then select the Decorations icon, which resembles a smiley face.

Choose the Stickers option to view the various sticker collections available. Users can browse through categories such as presets, emojis, or date and time stickers, and tap on one to add it to the photo.

Once a sticker is added, it can be dragged to reposition, pinched to resize, or rotated and flipped using the corner handles. For more options, tap the plus (+) icon to browse and download new sticker packs from the Galaxy Store.

When satisfied with the edits, tap the Save button, usually located in the top-right corner, to apply the changes.

The Samsung Gallery app also allows users to create their own custom stickers. While in the Stickers menu, tap the gallery icon, often found next to the clock icon, to begin creating a custom sticker.

Select an image from the gallery containing the object or person to be turned into a sticker. Use the on-screen tools to trace the desired part of the image, either with a free-form tool for precise cutouts or a shape tool for circles and squares.

After making the selection, users have the option to add a border to their new sticker. Once done, tap Next.

The new custom sticker is now saved and can be immediately added to the current photo. It will also be available for future use and can even be accessed via the Samsung keyboard in messaging apps.

After placing the custom sticker on the photo, tap Save to finalize the creation.

When saving the edited photo, the Gallery app often provides the option to save it as a copy, allowing users to keep their original, unedited photo safe while still experimenting with decorations.

Utilizing the built-in sticker function in the Samsung Gallery app not only saves time and device storage by eliminating the need for multiple third-party photo editing applications but also streamlines the editing workflow.

This feature unlocks a new level of personalization for images, enabling users to add unique, personal touches that pre-made sticker packs cannot offer. By turning pets, inside jokes, or favorite drawings into reusable stickers, users can make their messages and social media posts more engaging and fun.
