Samsung has unveiled its latest innovation in the smart TV space with the launch of the Movingstyle Smart TV in South Korea, a cutting-edge device that seamlessly merges home entertainment and mobile productivity.
The Movingstyle Smart TV boasts a 27-inch QHD display, offering a sharp resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid motion. The screen is equipped with full touchscreen capabilities and is designed to be used with a rolling stand that allows for height adjustment to achieve optimal viewing angles. Additionally, the television features a versatile mounting system, enabling users to switch between traditional landscape orientation and vertical portrait mode.
A key feature of the device is its detachable screen, which can be separated from the stand to function as a standalone monitor on a desk. For added portability, the display unit includes an integrated handle that doubles as a kickstand, allowing users to prop it up on flat surfaces without needing a separate stand. This functionality is supported by a built-in battery that provides up to three hours of operation on a full charge. The device is powered and recharged via a USB Type-C port.
The Movingstyle TV runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS and comes with integrated support for Bixby and Google Assistant, enabling users to control the device with voice commands. For audio, the device is equipped with a built-in 2-channel speaker system delivering a total output of 10 watts. In terms of connectivity, the Movingstyle TV features a single HDMI port, two USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Samsung has priced the Movingstyle TV at 1,440,000 won in South Korea, equivalent to approximately $1,035. Currently, there is no official information on whether the product will be released globally.
