A recent Geekbench database sighting has revealed details about the global version of vivo’s upcoming X300 smartphone, potentially carrying the model number V2515, and its impressive performance powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC.

The X300 achieved a single-core score of 3,177 and a multi-core score of 9,701 in Geekbench tests. However, experts caution that these benchmark results from an unreleased prototype should be taken with skepticism, as optimizations may not be fully implemented at this stage. The device is equipped with 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 16, marking an early adoption of the operating system.

This isn’t the first X300-related entry in Geekbench; back in August, a device with model number V2509A was spotted and initially labeled as the X300, possibly indicating a China-specific variant. The distinction between these models remains unclear, fueling speculation about the tipsters’ accuracy.

The key specifications of the X300 include a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and bezels slimmer than those on the previous X200 Pro mini. On the camera front, it boasts a 200MP main rear sensor, an enhanced telephoto lens with macro capabilities, and a 50MP front camera with autofocus and Zeiss co-branding. Security is handled by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

vivo is expected to officially unveil the X300 alongside the X300 Pro in October, positioning it as a premium contender in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market with a strong focus on display quality, photography, and processing power.
