A recent leak from Android Headlines has unveiled detailed renders, specifications, and marketing materials for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab A11 and Galaxy Tab A11 Plus tablets, highlighting significant differences between the two models.

Both tablets will be offered in gray and silver color options and incorporate innovative software enhancements, including Solve Math, Gemini AI integration, and Circle to Search functionality. These additions aim to boost productivity and user interaction on Samsung’s budget-friendly Android devices.

The Galaxy Tab A11 features an 8.7-inch display with a resolution of 1300 x 800 and a 90Hz refresh rate, making it a compact option weighing just 337 grams. In contrast, the A11 Plus steps up with an 11-inch screen boasting a higher 1900 x 1200 resolution, also at 90Hz, but at a heftier 480 grams. This size disparity underscores the Plus model’s suitability for users seeking a more immersive viewing experience.

Under the hood, the tablets diverge in processing power. The standard A11 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC built on a 6nm process, while the A11 Plus employs the more advanced MediaTek MT8167 chip on a 4nm architecture, potentially offering improved efficiency and performance for multitasking and media consumption.

Camera setups are identical across both models, with a single 8MP rear camera for basic photography and a 5MP front-facing lens for video calls. Storage and RAM configurations vary to cater to different needs: the A11 comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage or 8GB RAM with 128GB, both expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The A11 Plus provides higher-end choices of 6GB RAM with 128GB or 8GB with 256GB, also supporting the same expansion limit.

Battery life reflects the size differences, with the A11 equipped with a 5,100mAh capacity and 15W wired charging support. The A11 Plus, however, packs a substantial 7,040mAh battery, paired with faster 25W charging, promising longer usage times for on-the-go users.

Marketing materials spotlight several key selling points shared by both devices, such as seven years of operating system and security updates—ensuring long-term support in line with Samsung’s commitment to software longevity. Additional features include Samsung Find for device tracking, an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, and the aforementioned AI tools like Gemini and Circle to Search, which enhance search and problem-solving capabilities directly on the tablet.

This leak arrives shortly after Samsung’s launch of its premium Galaxy Tab S11 series earlier this month, signaling the company’s aggressive push into the tablet market. While no official release date has been announced for the A11 series, industry observers expect an imminent debut, positioning these affordable tablets as accessible entry points into Samsung’s ecosystem. The evident upgrades in the Plus model could appeal to budget-conscious consumers looking for value without compromising on essential modern features.
