Rumors surrounding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup have been circulating, with the latest suggesting that the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge will retain the same 25W fast charging support as their predecessors.
This information, shared by leaker Ice Universe, also known as PhoneArt on X, contradicts previous rumors that indicated a potential upgrade to 45W charging for the Pro model. If accurate, the unchanged charging speed may disappoint Samsung enthusiasts who were expecting an improvement.
The Galaxy S26 Pro is rumored to feature a 4,300 mAh battery, while the S26 Edge is expected to house a 4,200 mAh cell. The anticipated flagship lineup is speculated to consist of three models: the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The S26 Pro is expected to replace the standard Galaxy S model, and the S26 Edge is slated to replace the Galaxy S+ variant, according to the rumors. This reconfiguration suggests a potential shift in Samsung’s traditional naming and model lineup strategy.
