Leaked images have revealed that DJI is working on a successor to its Action 2 camera, launched in 2021, with the new model reportedly named DJI Osmo Nano.
The DJI Osmo Nano is said to retain the modular design of its predecessor, featuring accessories that attach via magnets. However, it appears to be significantly smaller and has a distinctive pill-shaped design, making it comparable in size to the Insta360 Go Ultra.
Details about the Osmo Nano’s storage capacity have emerged from a video clip showing the camera’s packaging, initially shared by YouTuber The Product Village. According to the clip, the Osmo Nano will come with 128GB of built-in storage. The packaging also indicates that DJI plans to offer the camera in various bundles, each including different accessories.
Additional leaks from Roland Quandt have provided official product shots of the Osmo Nano. These images reveal that the camera module does not have an integrated screen. Instead, users will have to use a separate external module for live previews and to review recorded footage.
Although DJI has not made an official announcement, the leaked images and information suggest that the Osmo Nano is designed to be a compact and modular action camera, emphasizing portability and ease of use.
