Potential in-game websites and apps for Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) have surfaced, hinting at parodies of popular services like Uber and WhatsApp. The information comes from a post by insider Tez2 on the GTA Forums, known for their Rockstar Games insights.
According to Tez2, several domains were registered on May 27 under Take-Two Interactive’s nameservers, leading to speculation about their connection to GTA 6. Tez2 suggests Rockstar Games might use these domains as in-game websites, potentially redirecting them to the official GTA 6 page in the future, similar to tactics employed for GTA 4 and GTA 5.
The leaked domain names include: what-up.app, rydeme.app, buckme.app, leonidagov.org, brianandbradley.com, hookers-galore.com, and wipeoutcornskin.com.
Notably, what-up.app was previously identified in the 2022 GTA 6 leaks and is believed to be a parody of WhatsApp. Rydeme.app is speculated to be a ride-hailing application akin to Uber, while buckme.app is thought to resemble a platform like Patreon or PayPal. Hookers-galore.com appears to be a parody of adult services.
Brianandbradley.com is believed to be a satirical take on the Morgan and Morgan law firm, a firm focused on personal injury, medical malpractice and class action lawsuits. The domain leonidagov.org is the only domain without an obvious parodic target.
While there is no official confirmation that these websites and apps will feature in GTA 6, it’s plausible that characters in the game could use such apps for various in-game activities, such as summoning a car in the game’s setting, Vice City.
