Meizu has announced the launch date for its upcoming flagship phone, the Meizu 22, which is set to debut in China on September 15.
The Meizu 22 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a significant upgrade that promises to deliver enhanced performance. The device will feature a 6.3-inch flat 2.5D display with ultra-slim 1.2mm bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience.
Teaser images have revealed a sleek design with uniform bezels, a flat display, and a minimized punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The rear panel boasts a square camera module in the top-left corner, housing a triple-camera system. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. Additionally, the device will feature a 50MP front-facing camera.
In terms of cooling, the Meizu 22 will incorporate a 4,500mm square vapor chamber, ensuring that the device remains cool during intense usage. The phone’s dimensions include a weight of 190g and a thickness of 8.15mm. There are also rumors suggesting the inclusion of a 5,500mAh battery, which is expected to provide long-lasting battery life.
While full details, including pricing, are expected to be disclosed next week, pre-bookings are currently available on the official Meizu China online store, generating buzz among tech enthusiasts.
