Xbox has officially launched its cross-device play history feature, ensuring a synchronized “recently played” game list across various platforms, enhancing the gaming experience for users across different devices.
This update, initially tested with Xbox Insiders last month, now provides a consistent gaming experience whether users are on different Xbox consoles, handheld devices like the Ally, or PCs. A key addition is the inclusion of cloud-playable games in the “recently played” list. According to Xbox, this encompasses every cloud-enabled title, ranging from original Xbox classics to Xbox Series X|S exclusives, consolidating them in one accessible location regardless of ownership or access via Xbox Game Pass.
Users can locate their recently played games on consoles via the “Play history” tile on the home page. On the Xbox PC app, these titles are displayed within the “Play history” tab under the “Most Recent” section, and are also integrated into the user’s game library, promoting easy access and continuation of gameplay across devices.
