Apple is reportedly planning a significant iPhone redesign for the device’s 20th anniversary in 2027, according to a Bloomberg report. This follows Apple’s introduction of an all-screen iPhone with a notch in 2017 for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary.
The “iPhone 20,” as it’s being referred to, is expected to feature a curved glass design. This design is anticipated to complement a new “Liquid Glass” aesthetic for iOS, Bloomberg notes.
Ahead of the iPhone 20, Apple is also expected to launch its first foldable phone in 2026. The report indicates Apple is changing the screen technology for its foldable phone to minimize the display crease.
